Renewable and CO2-free heating sector in Switzerland
A renewable and CO2-free heating sector by 2050 is feasible. The increase in energy efficiency and the use of the available sustainable renewable energy sources make this possible, as detailed spatial analyzes with GIS and the building park model show. The prerequisite for this is a well-coordinated range of energy and climate policy instruments. The study commissioned by the Swiss Heating Initiative (WIS) and the management of the AEE Suisse is now online, reported by the NZZ am Sonntag on the 7th of June 2020.
