Background Report on Data Centres in Switzerland and Interview in energeiaplus

After the publication of the project short report "Data Centres in Switzerland – Electricity Consumption and Energy Efficiency Potential" in May, the project's background report is now also available. It provides a more in-depth discussion of the findings presented in the short report and places them in a broader context. In particular, it expands on the results of stakeholder interviews conducted by TEP Energy with representatives of data centre companies, distribution network operators, and experts from the data centre industry.

As part of this, Martin Jakob was interviewed by the SFOE magazine energeiaplus about the background report. The interview covers the key findings and most surprising insights of the research project and offers an outlook on future developments.
